Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)

What is TENS?
TENS is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that uses low-voltage electrical currents through the skin to relieve pain and support recovery.

Why Use TENS?
Ideal for managing both acute and chronic pain, TENS helps with:

  • Muscle soreness & tightness
  • Sports injuries & rehab
  • Post-surgical recovery
  • Conditions like arthritis or back pain

How it Works
Electrodes are placed on the skin to send gentle electrical pulses. These can:

  • Block pain signals
  • Stimulate endorphin release
  • Improve circulation & muscle relaxation

What to Expect
You’ll feel a light tingling sensation – comfortable and adjustable. Sessions last 15–30 minutes and are tailored to your needs.

Who It’s For
Athletes, active individuals, or anyone seeking safe pain relief. It works well alone or alongside rehab and massage therapy.

Note: Not suitable for those with pacemakers, epilepsy, or during pregnancy (unless approved). All treatments are guided by qualified staff.
