Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Appointments

  • All appointments are preferred to be booked in advance via our official booking system, email, or telephone. However, walk-ins are accepted if therapists are available.
  • Clients must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to ensure the full treatment time can be provided. 
  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, with full charges still applicable.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. 
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours or failure to attend without notice (no-shows) will be charged in full. 
  • Exceptions may be made at FHR’s discretion in cases of medical emergency or valid unforeseen circumstances.

3. Payments

  • All treatments must be paid for at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. 
  • We accept EFT, card, or approved digital payment methods. No cash is accepted at events unless explicitly communicated. 
  • Packages and pre-paid sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.

4. Health & Medical Disclosure

  • Clients are required to complete a full health and consent form prior to treatment. 
  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform the therapist of any existing injuries, medical conditions, or changes in health status. 
  • FHR reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment if a therapist reasonably believes it is not safe or appropriate to proceed.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Clients are expected to behave respectfully at all times. Any form of harassment, intimidation, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of services and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • FHR staff maintain the right to work in a safe, respectful, and professional environment.
  • FHR retains the right to refuse treatment without liability if conduct breaches professional standards.

6. Confidentiality

  • All client information is kept strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of delivering services unless prior consent is provided.
  • Information may be anonymised and used for educational purposes only with the client’s explicit written consent.
  • All therapists and staff are bound by confidentiality agreements.

7. Liability

  • While every care is taken during treatments, FHR and its therapists accept no liability for any injury or adverse reaction that arises from withheld medical information or failure to follow post-treatment advice.
  • Clients participate in treatments at their own risk and are encouraged to seek medical clearance where appropriate.
  • FHR is not responsible for personal belongings lost, damaged, or left on the premises or at events.

8. Event Services

  • Services offered at sporting events are subject to change based on weather, access, or event organiser requirements.
  • Self-service tools such as COMPEX Boots and Ice Baths are used at the client’s discretion and risk. Proper instructions will be provided by FHR staff.
  • On-site bookings are first-come, first-served unless pre-booked through our designated system.

9. Staff and Service Provision

  • FHR employs qualified professionals who are trained, registered, and insured to perform all listed treatments.
  • Due to high demand or event conditions, your therapist may vary; however, all staff are trained to the same high standard.
  • In the unlikely event of therapist unavailability, FHR will make every effort to reschedule or provide a suitable alternative.
  • Weekend bookings are subject to therapist availability and will incur an additional surcharge for out-of-hours service.

10. Promotions, Packages, and Gift Vouchers

  • All promotions and offers are subject to expiry dates and specific terms.
  • Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase unless stated otherwise.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

11. Minors

  • Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must give written consent prior to any treatment.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute or complaint, clients should raise their concern in writing to info@fhrsport.co.za.
  • FHR will initiate an internal review via our HR and management channels and aim to resolve the matter professionally and promptly.

13. Non-Compete & Professional Ethics

  • Clients and partners agree not to solicit or engage FHR therapists for independent services without written consent.
  • FHR maintains a national non-compete clause with its staff post-termination to protect business operations and client relationships.

14. Updates to Terms

  • FHR reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our official website and in-practice.
